This is my submission piece for the
[link] Alvin Lee Street Fighter Tribute Digital Coloring Contest. I came up with the idea of having the piece on weathered parchment about halfway through coloring this. I really felt like Chun-Li and Ken were the main focal points of this piece (because they were the only full figures on the page, and they were not set behind the swirly noveau thing that separates everyone), so I wanted them to stand out more. Kind of like they were coming to life off of a dirty old drawing on a scroll. I originally had an actual scroll under it, but ditched that because it looked weird, and just went with a weathered piece of paper. I don't know that I actually achieved the feel of them coming off of the page, but I still think it looks cool.

I think the only thing that throws it off is that the 2 characters you colored don't balance the pic.
I get why you colored them, it just seems like if at least 1 other element or character was colored too, it would create balance.
Still, your color work is awesome.
How long did this take you?
I'm doing an entire series. Art writing etc and I work at a crisis shelter. There's always something popping up.
But the love of yer art keeps you going!
