The scan for this came out pretty good, but some of the blending that looks great in person came out a little blotched on the screen. Mostly with the skin and the background.
This was a commission that Craig Rousseau did for me back at Megacon 2011. I wanted to do the colors for this with my copic markers, but given the idea I had for it, I decided to do a digital prelim first, so I could map out what colors I needed. Once I had that done, I printed it out, and then got really busy and put this on the back burner for about 5 months or so. I finished this up last weekend after working on it over about two weeks in my spare time. I'm pretty happy with how it came out, I was trying to achieve a more rendered feel with a bunch of hues than I've done in the past with copics. This was also the first copic piece I colored in a WHILE, so I was a bit nervous.

Great coloring using a smaller palette.
